Hevra Kadisha

Hevra Kadisha is an organization constituting of Jewish men and women to help with the preparation phase of Jewish funerals and burials according to Jewish rituals. The duty of these people is to wait and wash the bodies, and prepare them for burial. Hevra Kadisha is considered more sacred than all other mitzvahs since it is unreciprocated.
